Welcome to Home & Hydro!

I am a Physiotherapist with a passion for Disability and Aged Care, working with you in your home, your local community, or in the pool.

If you would like to work with me, please get in touch with a few details and I look forward to catching up with you soon.

What I do

I love working with people with physical, intellectual and neurological disabilities such as Parkinson’s, Stroke Rehabilitation, Cerebral palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Down’s Syndrome just to name a few.

My passion also lies in Gerontology and helping you maintaining your health and wellbeing as you get older. This includes conditions such as arthritis, aches and pains, peripheral neuropathy, falls prevention and chronic disease management.

Home

Physiotherapy in the home is perfect if you have trouble leaving the house, or if you want to work on your therapy goals in your own home. We can incorporate ideas, exercises and therapy into your everyday routine. It is important to involve your family and support people in your sessions so you can work towards your goals every day with their help.

Hydro

Hydrotherapy, or Aquatic Physiotherapy is where we work towards your goals in the water. Working in the water has many benefits for you. The bouyancy allows you to move easier and with less pain. Warm water encourages muscle relaxation and improves blood flow. You are able to move better and this is great for your physical and mental well-being.

Community

Do you want to be able to get out and do more? Perhaps you want to be able to walk more safely around your local shops, start a new dance class or get involved in a community garden. I am passionate about helping people participate more in activities in their local community and linking physio goals and treatment to what you want to achieve.
